Artist Biography

Melissa Christine has always had an interest in the arts... Growing up as an only child to a musician and a jewelry designer, she discovered her interest in art and in makeup at an early age. Some of her hobbies included drawing, painting, creative writing, music and photography.
After high-school, Melissa decided to continue her education and received a Bachelor of Science from CSULB in Marketing. However, her passion for the arts and interest in make-up, led her to pursue a career as a make-up artist. She attended Make-up Designory, in Burbank, California and received certifications in beauty make-up application and hairstyling.
Melissa has been working ever since as a freelance make-up artist in Los Angeles. She has had the opportunity to work with some of LA's most creative and inspirational people, including numerous photographers, designers, hair & wardrobe stylists, directors, artists and musicians. She currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
